Botel Ristorante Matylda is a floating hotel and restaurant on the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic. Originally a 1930s cargo vessel, the project required bespoke hospitality furniture tailored to a compact, high-traffic waterfront environment.
Valecasa delivered custom furniture and architectural joinery designed specifically for the vessel’s structural and spatial constraints. Every piece was made to measure, balancing durability, weight efficiency, and precision while supporting daily restaurant and hotel operations.
Materials and finishes were selected for long-term performance in humid, fluctuating waterfront conditions, ensuring reliability without compromising the refined hospitality aesthetic.
