Luxury Penthouse Interior Design — Belize, Caribbean (Central America)

Valecasa collaborated with the project architect to develop and produce the interior for this private residence at 2727 The Residences, a boutique development located in Belize, Central America, positioned along the Caribbean coastline. The interior of the penthouse is conceived around material integrity, spatial clarity, and long-term functionality. A restrained palette of natural and sustainable materials defines the space, combining natural oak and walnut veneer with marble and travertine throughout. Engineered oak flooring runs continuously across the main living areas, while recycled wood is introduced as a central coffee table element, reinforcing the project’s material discipline.

The main living area opens toward a balcony facing the Caribbean Sea, allowing natural light, airflow, and uninterrupted views to shape the atmosphere of the space. Internally, it is organized around a large custom sofa designed to accommodate extended seating, complemented by a full-length media cabinet and controlled architectural detailing. The open kitchen anchors the layout with a 3.5-meter island, integrated home bar, and dedicated wine storage, supporting both daily use and entertaining. A more expressive material direction is introduced in the office, where Calacatta Viola marble and burgundy tones are paired with a soft pink sofa and brass detailing, creating a distinct yet composed working environment.

The master suite is defined by scale and contrast, featuring a fully marble-clad bathroom connected to dual walk-in wardrobes designed individually for him and her, each articulated through its own tonal language. The children’s bedrooms were developed with long-term adaptability in mind: one in blue tones referencing football, the other in grey reflecting basketball influences. Both spaces incorporate integrated desks, tailored storage, and durable materials suited for teenage use while maintaining the overall architectural consistency. The guest suite follows the same level of resolution, with a large custom wardrobe, detailed framing around the door, and a private vanity area. Its bathroom is finished entirely in red travertine, introducing a stronger material expression within a controlled composition. All fixtures throughout the residence are specified in Kohler.

The result is a tropical, high-performance residence that balances architectural discipline with its Caribbean setting, designed for longevity, climate responsiveness, and everyday living.
