Valecasa delivered a full interior fit-out for U Zlatého Stromu Hotel, a historic property in Prague’s Old Town overlooking the Vltava River. Working within a 14th-century structure, the focus was on refining the interiors without competing with the architecture, introducing materials and furnishings that feel natural to the building while improving durability for daily hotel use.
Across the restaurant, lounge, and guest areas, we developed a layered interior using real leather seating, solid wood furniture, and brass detailing, selected to complement the original stonework, arches, and carved elements throughout the property. Rather than redesigning the space, the approach was intentionally restrained, enhancing comfort, continuity, and atmosphere while preserving the building’s identity. The result is a hospitality interior that feels authentic, cohesive, and built to last within a historic setting.

“There is a clear respect for the building in the way Valecasa approached this project. The interiors feel considered, cohesive, and true to the character of the space. At the same time, everything functions exactly as it should for a hospitality environment. It’s a rare combination of sensitivity and execution.”
